Best Brunch on the Central Coast: Cafes and Morning Spots Worth Knowing

The Central Coast's cafe and brunch culture is centred primarily in Terrigal, Avoca Beach and the beach villages of the northern coast, with Gosford's CBD and Erina Fair's surrounding strip having good options for the central region. Terrigal Esplanade and the streets behind the beach have the highest concentration of quality independent cafes and are particularly busy on weekend mornings with Sydney day-trippers and local residents. Avoca Beach village has a smaller but well-regarded cafe strip. The Entrance waterfront has casual options suited to a post-beach morning. Toukley and the northern lake areas have developed their own cafe culture servicing the local community. Gosford's Mann Street area has CBD-focused cafes popular with weekday workers. Booking or arriving early is recommended at the more popular Terrigal spots on summer weekends.
