Best Pizza on the Central Coast: Quality Spots From Gosford to Terrigal

The Central Coast's pizza scene has a mix of long-standing family-run Italian restaurants, many with connections to the large Italian-Australian community in the Gosford and Wyong areas, and newer craft and wood-fired operators drawn by the region's population growth. The Gosford CBD and Erina areas have the highest density of options for the central region. Terrigal has quality pizza as part of its broader restaurant offering, with several options on the Esplanade and adjacent streets suitable for post-beach dining. The Entrance waterfront has casual takeaway and sit-down pizza popular during school holidays. Avoca Beach village and MacMasters Beach have smaller but quality options serving the northern beach communities. Many family-run pizzerias in the southern and central zone have been operating for decades and maintain loyal local followings that are a reliable indicator of quality.
