Stop pretending The Skillion isn't dangerous
The headland is the most photographed spot on the Coast. It is also where Surf Life Saving NSW has run more cliff rescues than any other site in the region.
I love The Skillion. I propose to my partner there. I run it most mornings. And I have, twice in the last year, helped recover someone from the rocks below.

A discreet fence — set back, low-profile, with viewing breaks — would not ruin the view. It would simply stop the calculated risk-takers and the accidental ones from sharing the same edge.
Council's master plan goes back on exhibition next month. This time we should actually read it.
