Preparations centre on Central Coast Stadium on Dane Drive in Gosford, where the league final will be staged, and the Erina Eagles training base off The Entrance Road in Erina, which hosts the association’s junior academy sessions three afternoons a week. The association’s under-18 pathway program at the Tuggerah Sports Centre has already signed 48 new players this month, feeding directly into senior squads that open the season against last year’s wooden spooners.
Coaches at both venues report extra demand for pre-season passes after the international matches drew record television audiences on the coast. Erina Eagles president Lisa Chen said the club sold 180 season memberships in the first 48 hours of sales, up 35 per cent from the same period in 2025.
Numbers Behind the Build-Up
League records show average home attendance last season reached 4,872 across the 12-team competition, with the highest single gate of 9,140 recorded at Central Coast Stadium on August 23. This year’s opening-round double-header at the same venue carries a $28 adult ticket price and a $12 concession rate, with family packs capped at $65. The association projects a 12 per cent rise in overall attendance if the top two sides maintain their current points-per-game averages of 2.4 and 2.1 respectively.
Fans can secure reserved seating through the Central Coast Football Association website or at the Gosford box office on Manns Road until 5 pm on match days. Early purchase guarantees entry to the September 19 grand final should their team qualify, avoiding the sell-out risk that left 1,200 supporters outside last year’s decider.
